Here’s a photo from last weekend’s conference on children’s lit at the Center for Children’s and Young Adult Literature (CCYAL) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Co-producer Steven Withrow is second from left, author Jack Gantos is fourth from left, and children’s lit expert Julie Danielson and author Richard Michelson are on the right. We’re excited to announce that will be screening the film at the American Library Association’s Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, June 25. Time, location, and more details are coming soon.

ChLA Screening at Hollins University — June 23

We’ll be screening the film for attendees of the Children’s Literature Association Conference 2011 at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23. This screening is not open to the general public, but it will be a great chance for us to interact with the academic side of children’s lit. Hope to see you there if you’ve registered!

Ohio State Screening — Friday, May 20

Mark your calendars, Ohioans! We’ll be bringing the film to Columbus on May 20. We are still working out the exact location, time, and other details, so please stay tuned.

NYC Screening during Children’s Book Week

Our film will be a featured event during Children’s Book Week in New York City this May, with the sponsorship of the Children’s Book Council. This will be an invitation-only event, and we’ll post more details about it soon. We’re very excited to take part in this historic celebration of children’s literature.

Eric Carle Museum screenings – April 29 and 30

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, which played an important role in the making of the film, will host two screenings at the end of April.
